It was utter darkness, my wrists wrangled behind my back, and it hurt like hell. I felt the stings on my face and in my wrists as I struggled some more.
Alessandro, that bastard, he kidnapped me again.
“Leon… when I get you, I’ll report you to the police!” I yelled, blindfolded.
“Can this b*tch ever shut up?” one of them asked, agitation in his voice.
“If you find me annoying, just send me back where you left me,” I shot back angrily.
Whatever Alessandro was plotting, I wouldn’t let him go scot-free with it. This was the height of it. Last time I let him off because he seemed nice to me, but now, he wouldn’t get away from my wrath once I was released. Just as I struggled some more, I felt a blinding light piercing my eyes—it hurt so badly, the blindfold had been taken off.
“What do you people want with me?” I asked, perplexed, trying to move my body from side to side, making an annoying creak sound.
