As I stared at her in my arms, resting peacefully, my lashes were long enough they almost touched her cheeks. She seemed so serene. I do love when she’s fiesty and a fighter, but those relaxed eyelids and poised lips that attracted mine—watching her was worth my while.
She’s so beautiful.
“Alright… I won’t sedate her, just let her rest,” the doctor said as Collins entered the room.
“Don’t worry, doc,” Collins said to the other doctor, leading him out.
I placed her gently on the bed, letting her rest.
“Wh…what happened to her?” Ashley asked, rushing worriedly to her side.
“She’s recollecting memories that were locked away,” I revealed, folding my arms. Such a thing must sound crazy, but it explained her current state.
“Is that even possible?” Collins asked from the door.
“Yeah… Ria mentioned something like that after she met that old lady… who’s now gone, may her soul rest in peace,” Ashley said, shutting her eyes brief
