I didn’t know where my brother hid them, so I went through all the boxes, all the drawers in the living room, and even the kitchen cabinets. Zilch! I knew Gio couldn’t have hidden them in the bedroom since I had seen everything there—I didn’t have many clothes, let alone shirts. But after I rummaged through it, the result was still zero.
Although I was still convinced I would never find them in the wardrobe, I was wrong. My brother kept them there. How did I not notice all this time? Because Gio put Zack’s shirt on a hanger, sandwiched between the shirt and blazer Levi bought in Paris for our dinner at Le Jules Verne. I had never touched or wore that shirt and blazer again because it felt weird. Levi also never asked why I never wore them. So, they were utterly forgotten.
