Chapter 9
"Why are you smiling to yourself, Glenn?" Zack approached me on the balcony, carrying two bowls of fruit salad. Since Zack and I started sort of living together (because none of us moved to the other's place), he always wanted to spoil me. He was busy in the kitchen slicing fruits when I mentioned craving fruit salad.
"Gio asked when we'll officially live together."
Zack laughed. "What did you say?"
"I explained a bit about our living arrangement, and he didn't ask any more questions." Zack and I weren't yet living together 24/7. Sometimes, he still slept at his rented house in Sanur, and I didn't want to force him to move here. It works for us so far. Why push it?
"Fifty-four days, Glenn."
I swallowed the apple I was chewing before looking at Zack. "What's with the 54 days?" I asked innocently because I didn't understand why he suddenly mentioned that number.
