Chapter 302

Michael Free called Stephano to ask how Patty's tests were coming along.

Stephano replied, "So far, Michael, Patty is driving her neurologist crazy. She had the hospital shut down, because they could not find her, and we've been told to see a crazy psychiatrist because we are both nuts."

Michael laughed. "So you are telling me everything is back to normal."

"She has some weakness in her left leg that may require a brace, and she will wear leg weights for a while to build up the muscles to compensate for the nerve damage caused by the stroke. William is going to sue the government, for next year's budget, and because Stengel kissed that bus, and the testimony of the agents who were assigned to kill her, he may very well get it."

"I agree; and the Justice Department will not have a leg to stand on in their defense. Is she available? I would like to say hello."

"Yes, here she is."
