Chapter 10. My Declaration

I sat still for the first time in days, watching Mars doing our packing. I had only meant to attend a wedding and head back to Plum Paradise. All my plans had been dashed by a red-haired witch who had vanished into thin air after spinning my world off its axis. The guards had not been able to find her and even Mars was getting tired of my constant complaining.
He watched me closely when he thought I was asleep, probably afraid that I would lose my mind soon. Terrible wars and dangerous battles had not been enough to drive me crazy but thoughts of a mere girl without a scent was keeping me up at night. It was shameful but true.
"Alpha, I am done with the packing and the guards have returned. When do we leave for Plum Paradise?"
