Venus POV
Riding, no matter how much fun it was, came with its own disadvantages. My waist ached from fighting to maintain a good sitting position on Vinci. The reins had left ugly red lines on my palms, and I smelled worse than a pig.
April and Jess were in my room again, and although I was happy to see them, I was equally suspicious. My fears were confirmed when I pushed my half-eaten lunch aside and saw them exchange worried looks.
