Rhia’s eyes turned intense, “You keep talking about Ethan and all. It’s like you know something that I don’t,”

“No, I don’t,”

Rhiannon kept pushing, “Eleanor, don’t lie to me. I’ve known you since we were kids. I can tell when you’re hiding something from me. Is there a reason why Ethan wants me back? Is that why you’ve been trying to protect me?”

“No!” Eleanor snapped, her breathing hitched and she began walking to her room, “There’s nothing for you to worry about. I was simply trying to look out for you, that’s all. Goodnight, Rhia,” She had already slammed the door behind her.

Rhiannon clamped her lips together to stop the laughter from spilling out.

*I didn’t know it was this easy to push her to a corner. Did you see how she scurried away?* Rhiannon sneered as she walked into her room, softly closing the door.
