Chapter 100. The Woman in the Shadows

“Stay behind me,” Rhiannon whispered to Layla and her friend nodded in understanding.

Then, they walked out of their hiding place. On seeing them, the warriors instantly transformed into their wolf form, teeth baring and claws stretching, ready to tear them into confetti.

Layla’s eyes shook with fear, and her blood ran cold. How were they supposed to defeat twenty wolves with just two of them?

Rhiannon moved with terrifying grace. Her movements were too fast for even Layla’s wolf to catch, and in merely seconds, all warriors were down and unblinking.

“Oh my God...,” Layla drawled softly, “Okay, I know you’re strong and all but this...this is just...,”
