Chapter 100. A Better Future

Nathaniel’s POV

I turned my face away as William was dragged out of the building. It was a good thing that today wasn’t a work day. If not everyone at NIPCON, this day would have seen my cousin being dragged out like a piece of rag.

Ferdinand and I followed behind. We watched as he was thrown into an army vehicle and then taken away. I couldn’t believe that it was my cousin who was being taken away, and I was a bit shaken up.

“Hey… you okay?” Ferdinand asked, concerned.

“Yeah. I’ll be fine.” I turned and walked to the car waiting for me by the gate.

Rose was inside the car. I had asked my men to bring her to the office so that we could both go home together. I got into the car, and we hugged.
