Chapter 96. True Love’s Spark

Nathaniel’s POV

Leslie and Ana exchanged stares and then asked me to follow them. I followed them until we came to a room. Leslie motioned for me to go in, and then she and Ana left.

Rose was definitely inside. I took a deep breath and walked in.

She was standing when I entered. And looking directly at me. Something lit up inside of me the minute I set my eyes on her. It was like life was returning back to me. I still stood close to the entrance. I noticed the tears that formed in her eyes when she saw me, too.

The connection was real and true. I didn’t realize how badly I had missed her until I saw her. I felt like I had found a missing part of me, one that I hadn’t been able to survive with all these while. I suddenly realized how tired I was, how I hadn’t been able to get enough sleep all this while because I wanted her back in my life.
