POV: Jaewon

“Ariel is beautiful, I can’t stop looking at her for even a second. She’s so small that constantly makes me smile by reminding me of Harin, but she’s so attentive and curious that it enchants me to be so perfect.

“Can I change her diaper?” I ask Harin, standing next to the crib, where Ariel is awake and quiet.

“It’s not time to change the diaper yet, Jae. She’s still dry.”

“And can I pick her up? Can I hold her?”

Harin laughs, calling me to sit next to him. And when I sit down, I feel him rest on my shoulder.

“You should rest,” he says. “We passed our first night, awake.”

“I’m fine. I rested for about thirty minutes while you snored softly.”

“I don’t snore.”
