POV: Harin

When I entered the living room, I found Jaewon sitting on the couch. Only then did I notice the room. Like the walls of the kitchen and the bedroom, there were also glass walls there, all always covered by curtains. Jaewon was calmly eating something while looking at his phone and rocking the baby stroller with his foot. My mother-in-law was in the kitchen, organizing the cabinets with the groceries from the market she had the freedom to order for delivery that afternoon.

“Would you like some pineapple?” Jaewon asked, lifting the container that was next to him. I looked seriously at his face, but all he did was smile. Jaewon was eating pineapple cut into cubes with a fork. He was being finicky.

“The place is so beautiful, Jae,” I said, lying down on the other side of the sofa, looking up at the high ceiling. “Woah, I never imagined I could live in a house like this.”

“You can do anything, Harin. This is only possible because of you.”

“
