POV: Harin

My eyes were unable to detach from my boyfriend’s handsome face.

I felt euphoric; it was finally the first of September, and in that moment, I whispered for him to wake up. But all I could see was his beautiful smile as he touched my waist, pulling me close to him.

“Wake up, baby,” I called, brushing his hair away from his forehead.

Jaewon grumbled and lifted his face, still with his eyes closed, and kissed my lips. I smiled, pulling away to see him slowly open his slightly swollen eyes.

“Happy birthday, baby.”

Once again, he smiled.

I leaned in, touching his lips again, and sighed, letting the kiss be our good morning.

“I have a surprise for you,” I warned.

I got up from bed, stumbling a bit, and heard Jaewon smile before yawning and sitting on the bed, still very lazy.

“Close your eyes,” I requested, holding the breakfast tray.

I peeked until he closed his eyes and walked back to the bed.
