Chapter 81
POV: Harin
The taxi stopped, and Taesu called me. Jaewon’s eyes were fixed on mine; my heart seemed a bit selfish because I could only beg him to come with me, to leave Ji-a with her sisters, with that Namsoo guy, or even with my mother-in-law, but to come with me and take care of me. I begged for that.
“Harin, let’s go,” Taesu called again. I sighed, detaching myself from Jaewon’s body.
“Goodbye,” I forced another smile and walked to the taxi.
“Isn’t he coming?” Taesu asked quietly.
“No, he’s staying to take care of his wife…”
My brother understood that I didn’t want to be mean, but it was frustrating even for him.
“It doesn’t matter; I’ll stay with you,” he smiled, also getting into the car.
I hugged him, looking out the window when the car finally moved, taking us home.
“WAIT!” I was startled when I heard Jaewon’s voice and looked through the window. He smiled, opening the car door. “I’m sorry.”
Jaewon apologized
