Lynn’s POV

Dakota frowned, shaking her head. “I couldn’t imagine losing my siblings. Drake has been my rock.” She reached over and took his hand in hers. It was a beautiful moment, but the second I saw the way he looked at his sister and I was a goner.

I cleared my throat and had to look away. He was becoming something I didn’t want to see because deep down, I was still trying to talk myself out of wanting him for more than just sex.

“I’ll bet your parents miss you,” Dakota stated, making me nod.

“Yeah, and I miss them as well. They knew why I had to move across the country and supported my decision.” I looked over at Drake and saw him glaring at me. Okay, he seriously needed to stop that. “Luis is here, my best friend, and they knew he’d take good care of me.”
