“He was a monster, Drake,” She whispered bringing her eyes back up to mine. “We were so in love during high school. We would see our pictures in the new yearbook as homecoming king and queen, happy as ever. Then college hit and he started changing. I don’t know what happened but he was no longer the same guy I fell in love with in high school. But I felt stuck with him. He proposed our senior year of college, I agreed but suddenly he distanced me from all my friends and even my family.
