Aria's POV

Knox continued. “This is about me. What I am!”

“I don’t care, Knox!” I snapped. “I want you.”

“You shouldn’t want me!” he barked, “Not with what I am. Not with what I’ve done.”

I clenched my fists in frustration. Knox was just going in circles, repeating the same vague excuses, never giving me the truth.

“Then tell me,” I demanded. “What are you? What is it that makes you so… so untouchable? So unworthy? Stop giving me half-truths, Knox! Tell me!”
