Aria's POV

“You're no longer an omega.” Knox said firmly, “You are my mate, the Luna Queen. Nothing should ever make you doubt yourself. Nothing. Besides, my pack will love you.” He continued.

I chewed the insides of my mouth nervously. I wasn't going to tell him that his Beta and the Beta's sister were not part of that list. I just nodded.

He released a sigh. “Look, let me put it to you in simpler terms.” He said with a small smile. “Anyone that messes with you, messes with me. And you know no one wants to mess with me. If there's anyone that shows you even a little bit of an attitude or dislike, come tell me. I'll handle it.”

I nodded slowly, a shiver running down my spine at the deadly look in his eyes.

“Understood?” He asked, and I nodded again.
