Aria's POV

“This is a significant day for the Moonshadow Pack.” He declared, looking across the room.

“Today, I stand before you not only as your Alpha but as a man who has found his mate, and his equal, and I am so proud to introduce her to all of you. Please welcome your Luna Queen, Aria.”

If the room was silent before, now it was even more silent. I could see the disbelief on most of their faces. Then slowly the murmurs and hushed whispers started.

My stomach twisted, but I kept my head high. Knox squeezed my waist gently in encouragement, and I kept reminding myself that he was here with me. I was fine.

“I expect you to treat her with the same respect you show me,” Knox continued, with a warning in his voice. “She is my equal and the future of this pack.”
