I stood abruptly, and began pacing the room. “So what you’re telling me is that Knox, my mate, has been comforting his ex every single year? Even when they are no longer together?”

I turned to him sharply. “And he never thought to mention this to me?”

Shawn leaned forward with a serious expression. “Luna, I get why you’re upset, but I promise you, it’s not what you think. The Alpha doesn’t have feelings for Astrid anymore. He isn’t thinking about it like you are. To him, it’s just something he does. He doesn’t see it as a betrayal.”
