“Uhh…maybe I should come later,” Shawn said slowly, stepping back, “You look like you're not in a very good mood.”

I released a sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose. “Don't worry, I thought you were Cornelius.”

Shawn furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “Cornelius? What would he be doing here?” he asked, glancing around.

“He suddenly had a change of mind, and decided that we both needed to work together for the betterment of the pack.” I drawled with heavy sarcasm dripping from my voice as I stepped aside for him to enter.
