Chapter 143. The Result of Your Choices

Soren POV

I woke up feeling my pulse burning, and my body was weak, as if I'd lost the same amount of blood I'd used in my vision. I took a deep breath, struggling to open my eyes and pay attention to my surroundings, and the first thing I noticed was that Victor wasn't there.

I fought against the weakness and after a few minutes I managed to get up, the light in the room was low, in a dim light and that helped me. I walk to the bathroom, look in the mirror and my skin is paler than usual, my lips have a purple tinge and I can see some veins appearing under the skin.

All this is an indication of how Bond is working, making me much more human. Even at this moment, my appearance is that of a human who is anemic. Apart from the fact that I don't feel like eating, my thirst is under control.
