Everything was ready, my power with Ishtar's was enough to cleanse Ghost of the corruption that was inside him and his human part was practically dead. Klaus had made too many mistakes, and the weight of his guilt had simply made him disappear.

If he ever comes back, it will be to see a changed world where he will have to bear the consequences of his actions. Ghost bowed, even though he knew he might have something to do with Ayla.

Whatever happened in his mind, it made him realize that to stand in my and Victor's way was to be defeated and forgotten and his loyalty to Ayla was too high for him to do something like that.

In a way, I feel sorry for Ghost, for everything he's been through and I know I have a part in it, because I taught Klaus how to create the chains that bound him, but they were never meant for what Klaus committed.

I sighed and closed my eyes, feeling a slight pain in my chest, because the path of Ghost and Klaus was one I cou
