Chapter 31. Beach Therapy

"Thank you, Dr. Sheridan."

"You're making progress, Jessica, small baby steps."

Tyler was to my side soon as I was out of her office, he nodded at Dr. Sheridan. He was letting me have my space, didn't discuss anything with her. The man was understanding and respecting my therapy time with my psychiatrist.

"So, I was thinking of getting a week off from work, and you're not seeing Dr. Sheridan for another week. With that in mind, what would you say we if we go for a short trip?" he holds my hand in his and rubbed my knuckles with his thumb. Small little gestures, but he was showing me that he's there, that he cares for me.

"...nothing too far, I'm thinking the quiet seaside, walk on the beach type of relaxation? nearby bed and breakfast with a full spa treatment? and if you're bored we can go back and just lounged at my place and have our walk in the park date?"
