Chapter 6. His Story

Today was a very weird and surprisingly pleasant one. I definitely didn't expect to save a suicidal teenager on my usual morning run. I had been staying at my brother's beach house for a couple of days now.

I was trying to get over Aubrey, I was so sure that she was the one until she ditched me to climb higher up the social ladder. Seemed that owning my own growing business didn't satisfy her drive to be successful in life.

I know she was one of those socialites. But I thought I had her, with all the sexy times that we had. She was beautiful and very passionate about me, I showered her with all the things that she wanted. She wasn't brought up wealthy, so I just thought maybe that made her money hungry and I thought that it would fade with time as we get more serious.

But I was wrong, as she broke up with me and announced her engagement with some hotshot financial guy, complete with his mansion and his fast cars.
