Chapter 26. Explaining Him

"Right, so let's see..." She was back with a big dusty ancient-looking book in her hand. She started opening the book and flipped through some old-looking manuscripts that looked like it was bound manually by hand.

"I need the name of your guardian." She stated, while her eyes were still busy skimming through the pages.

"Arkael."

She stopped her movement and slowly looked up at me, her eyes wandered from mine then to Walter, then to mine again.

"What?" I asked her curiously, she opened her mouth to speak her words but then she looked at both of us for the second time.

"He's the dark one, he had been ruling the dark side keeping peace within the dark kingdom for hundreds of years. Damn, Florence...I...I honestly don't know what he would want from you, other than to tell you what I know of him. He's a very dangerous demon, he has very strong dark power, and he could snap each and every one of us like a twig with just one click of his fingers."
