Chapter 113
Joseph looked around his living room, and he saw the mess he had made. The couch was covered in crumpled-up clothes, and there were empty pizza boxes strewn across the floor. The trash can was overflowing, and there were dirty dishes in the sink. He knew the maid would be horrified if she saw the state of the place. Not like she wasn't used to cleaning up his mess, but the morning's own in particular was beyond all others she had cleaned and he felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him. He couldn't believe he had let things get so out of control. He knew he had to get his act together, and fast.
Joseph was in a panic. He had heard the news of his uncle-in-law's death, and he knew that his wife would be devastated. He had no idea where she was, and he was desperate to find her, he couldn't even tell if she was dead or alive. He called her cell phone over and over again, but it just went to voicemail. She didn't have any other family he was aware of outside Sarah.
