Joseph's POV

I swiftly pulled out my phone and casually dialed Detective James then he picked at the first ring.

“Detective James, it’s Joseph. Emergency! Isklander was seen and he kidnapped Felicity right in front of the hospital.”

There followed a brief silence at the other end and for a moment I thought the line had gone dead. But then he broke that silence and his voice was filled with astonishment.

“Isklander? But...he is dead. We confirmed that ourselves. And directly before the hospital? How did he even…?”

“Yes sir. Apparently not. And now he has got Felicity. We would require your assistance to retrieve her.”

Detective James cursed under his breath. “This happen? People are always present around hospitals. Did anyone witness anything?”

“We are currently checking out security footage, but it seems so far Isklander had backers. There was this black tinted van which came by, and he just grabbed Felicity without anyone realizing”
