Felicity's POV

I turned into the lane leading up to the school, excited to pick up Austin from his first day of preschool. He ran out to the car, his little face lighting up to a smile.

"Mommy!" he exclaimed, throwing himself into my arms.

I held him tight. That surge. it hit love, pride. "Hey, baby. How was your day?" I asked while I strapped him in his car seat.

Austin chattered away in a happy manner about the day. As he spoke of the blocks he built and the friends he met, he said something that really caught my attention.

"Uncle Iskander says I should greet you," he said, looking up at me with big brown eyes.
