Yves pulled away from Timothy and stared at the astonished, wide-eyed girl. “Mayumi…”

“I won’t allow this!” Mayumi charged at them, her balled hands unfolding to reach out like merciless eagle claws. “Yves is mine— oomph!”

Timothy had grabbed her face with one hand, stopping her from advancing to reach Yves. “What do you mean, he’s yours? Haven’t you seen my post? I think it’s pretty obvious who he belongs to. So in what part of the universe did you get the idea that you own him, you little twerp?”

Muffled snarls were Mayumi’s sole response, and Yves’ shoulders only dropped in exasperation. It almost slipped his mind how the Mathias siblings resembled a cat and dog squabbling over the tiniest thing. It was entertaining to watch them, but they could be energy-draining, too.
