“Okay, guys, give me a smile!”

The flash of the camera blinded him a little, even though he wasn’t part of the picture. Yves stood by the side as the photographer took pictures of the newlyweds by the altar with their immediate family. Next to him was Timothy, along with other groomsmen and bridesmaids, waiting for their turn after the wedding sponsors.

Not long enough, the photographer flagged them to stand beside the newlyweds; the groomsmen were to stand to the left of Patrick, while the bridesmaids stood next to Antoinette — the bride, Alex’s older sister. She looked majestic in her white ball gown beaded with pearls, her dark brown tresses donned in a low bun, gloved hands holding her bouquet of white roses in front of her.
