“Welcome to our humble home!” Alex announced as they exited the van. “Well, actually, this private resort is my bro’s property, but let’s just pretend that it’s mine since I look like an heiress, anyway.”

Timothy gave a snort. “I think you look more like their maid.”

“You know, Timothy, we are actually looking for someone to guard this place. Why don’t you apply since, you know, you look like a dog.” Alex snapped her fingers together with the repeated click of her tongue. “Tu~! Come here. Sit! Roll over! Play dead!”

Timothy bared his teeth like a feral animal. “If I’m a dog, I’m gonna snap all the bones in your body since you look like a living skeleton.”

“Oh my god!” Alex jumped behind Yves when Timothy tramped forward. “Beb, your Doberman is so scary. I think he has rabies. Ah! Get away from me! Get away from me!”

Yves just stood there as the two started circling around him before sprinting towards the beach, disrupting the peace of the place with the
