Chapter 26
Lorak stared at him for a long time, before blinking twice and pointing at Aart.
"Daddy"
Seeing that the boy wanted to go to where his father was, Josh shook his head.
“Remember what that guy said? He’s busy right now, and he can’t take care of you… but, we can watch him work, how about that?”
Lorak didn't even need to think before nodding. Even though I wanted to be by Aart's side, watching him work would do the trick too!
To be honest, he was feeling shy and a little scared among so many people. So he wanted to be as close as possible to some father figure, and as Ziad wasn't present, he turned his attention to Aart.
Of course, Lorak felt curious about all the different races present. But, he would rather watch Aart work obediently, then maybe he could drag him a little closer?
