Chapter 25
Breathing heavily, the first thing Ziad felt before completely regaining consciousness was the thick smell of blood.
Lowering his eyes, he looked at his hands where sharp claws were visible. From them, small drops of blood trickle lazily.
Sighing, Ziad shook his head trying to control himself... That... had been dangerous...
It was the first time he had gone into a frenzy.
When dragons are very stimulated, or feel threatened… They have this defense mechanism. They lose control of themselves to their “animal” side.
Luckily he had a “fixed target”, and didn’t hurt any of the people present.
Now he knew how others of his kind felt about their mates. When he was younger, Ziad thought it was ridiculous how easily paired dragons lost control.
But a hundred times, I had heard that a fight had broken out because someone's partner was greeted in a “disrespectful” way.
