Both Ziad and Aart looked at him with complicated expressions.
What did he mean by “he is a slave”?
“We entered the dark forest. So we didn’t go through any barriers” Ziad explained “But what do you mean by that?”
“Well, I don’t know how long you’ve been in this country. But, other races are instantly enslaved when they enter here. Unless one side is human, and declares “ownership” over the other party.”
“… this is… Kaher?” Ziad asked hesitantly “damn, I felt like there was something wrong with this place!”
Kaher was the worst place they could be. Damn, lack of sense of direction!
It was common sense that this country tried to show at all costs that humans were superior to all other races.
So, any individual who was not human, whether travelers, citizens of the kingdom itself, or unsuspecting people who had the misfortune of setting foot in this country, would be instantly classified and captured as slaves.
