Chapter 73. Keep It a Secret

Chloe was still shaken by the overwhelming predicament she must face in secret. Unlike her perfect plan for every project assigned to her, this was something she couldn’t prepare herself with.

She went back and forth waiting for the longest two minutes of her life to pass. She didn’t want to believe the doctor’s diagnosis, so as soon as she left the hospital, she went straight to the pharmacy and bought three different types of pregnancy test kits.

She immediately took the test as she arrived home, and now she was waiting for the final verdict.

The alarm she set went off so she took all of them and lined them up on the bedside table inside her room.

She was clueless and didn’t exactly know what to feel in this situation. She closed her eyes in front of the kits, even though she wasn’t sure what to pray about.

She took a deep breath, “You can do this, Chloe! Don’t be a coward. Whatever it is, you must face it forward.”
