Chapter 157

Jessica turned her head to the window by her side looking out the busy road while she felt an uncomfortable cough coming on. Yes she told Xavier to stop staring and then she began hers but that did not mean he had to put her on the spot like that. 

"Are you okay?" Genevieve asked when the cough did not seem to go down. "I have an unopened bottled water in my bag" she added digging into it and merging with a bottle that she thrust to her. 

"Thank you," Jessica said opening the bottle and taking a big gulp out of it. 

"I want some water too," Xavier said and Jessica immediately whipped her head to face him. "Water," he said stretching his hands towards her. 

She gave him the bottle of water and somehow he ensured to make a long but quick body contact with her before snatching the bottle from his hands. There was a sly expression on his face and she knew he was teasing her but why was he doing so with Genevieve right behind them?
