"What about us? We are married aren't we?" Xavier asked confused as to where his grandfather was trying to go with the question. 

"Oh I see you want to keep your grandfather in the dark don't you?" 

"In the dark?" 

Xavier could not be more confused. The words and the sequence of everything his grandfather was saying did not make sense to him. 

"I know that you and Jessica have decided to be a real couple," Dawson says and it finally dawns on Xavier what he had been trying to say. "The kind that can give me great grandchildren" he adds in a whisper.
