Chapter 169

He dropped Jessica to the back seat of the car and closed the door gently. He entered the driver's seat and started the engine. Before anything he needed to know that she was safe so he was going to go to the hospital first. 

"Xavier," she said silently as she tried to steady herself from the scare she got. 

Xavier stared at her through the rearview mirror as she lay down on her seat her eyes blinking rapidly. 

"I am sorry" she continued when he did not respond. "And thank you" 

"What are you sorry for?" he asked as his hands gripped the steering wheel. He was barely trying his best to control the anger that surged through his whole body. 

"For putting you in this situation, you wouldn't be here if not for my aunt" 

The men had taken it upon themselves to explain the situation clearly to Jessica. It made sense to her the sudden disappearance of Olivia, the accusation of Roselle about how strange she acted made more se
