Chapter 172

When Jessica came out of the bathroom she felt somewhat empty not seeing Xavier there. She picked up her phone from the nightstand and made her way downstairs. Her attention was drawn to the small chatter in the living room and she went there. 

"How did you walk by yourself all the way here?" Xavier asked when he saw her limping and walking toward him. 

"I can not stay coupled up in the room all day, and I need to exercise it so it can heal faster too" she explained. 

He met her halfway and helped her gently to the couch where she proceeded to have her seat. Her eyes landed on the two men who were standing there. She found it suspicious because she knew all the house staff and they were not a part of them. 

She tried to control her gaze from falling so continuously on them but it was quite difficult for her. "Who?" she whispered leaning to ask Xavier who was sitting right next to her.
