Xavier got home quite late and quite exhausted. He had meetings with foreign investors, as they were all interested in the life of the company’s owner. He had just taken over the company on paper, although he had been running it ever since Dawson got sick.

“Welcome, young master. Should I prepare dinner for you and the lady?” one of the house staff asked.

She just happened to be around when he came in, and she decided to ask him if she needed to prepare anything.
