“You married our little princess. So we are bearing with you. Keep that in mind. Without our angel, you are nothing but a passerby in her life,” Lain mocked Adam.

What twisted mind do the Diaz brothers have? They were all sweet and sulky in front of Grace but too fierce in front of Adam.

“Whatever… I am leaving,” he said and was about to leave.

As Adam turned to leave, Lain’s words stopped him in his tracks. Lain spoke, “She is already going through a lot, gentleman. Don’t put too much expectation on her.” He then added, “And by the way, we should have some white lilies in the garden. She always loved those.” Lain left the place.

Adam was confused by Lain’s words. What kind of expectations Adam had on Grace. Yeah, he had been expecting her to be mentally well. Other than that he never expected anything from her. And white lilies… He knew Faith liked white flowers but why specifically white lilies…
