Chapter 71

The Diaz family had a heavy sadness for the loss of one of the twins, though they concealed their grief, knowing that any display of sorrow would impact the surviving twin. Adam could feel their sadness.

Ashton led Adam to the room that had been carefully prepared for the couple. Grace and the five Diaz brothers were already inside, their expressions notably somber. As soon as Adam entered the room, Grace’s face lit up, her eyes fixed solely on him.

Ashton addressed his sons, “Alright, boys, take care of the other arrangements.” He then quietly left the room after five of them nodded their heads, leaving Adam and Grace alone with her brothers.

The Diaz brothers exchanged subtle glances. Zev broke the silence. “I hope you guys liked the arrangement and if you have anything to change, feel free to ask one of us.” Adam and Grace nodded.

“Then, have a rest. We will see you in the evening.” Saying that, Ander got up and so did the other four.
