"I'll take care of the ones of highest priority," Caleb replied flatly.

"That's the problem, Caleb. They are all priorities."

Caleb sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I'll be back soon and I'll take a look at all of them."

"Soon isn't a day of the week," Xavier replied sternly. "The company needs you, and I've always said that if you can't balance work and family..."

"I'm not in the mood to have this conversation right now, uncle," Caleb interrupted.

"You should listen to your uncle, honey," Rose chimed in with her soft motherly voice.

Xavier smiled shrewdly. Everything was going according to plan and soon, Caleb would be too psychologically down to continue with the company while he would step in as a hero to save the dying company.
