My eyes widened when I saw who was behind the mask.

“Mate? So it’s you?” I’m surprised.

“Alice, I’m sorry for scaring you.”

“But why? Why are you doing this to me? Wait! So what I’ve been seeing all this time is you in that apartment? And the person who pressed the door button earlier, too, are you?”

“Yes, I am,” replied Mate.

“But how so? How can we live in an apartment?”

“I don’t know. At first, I didn’t even know if Alpha was in the apartment because I just came in last night. And as it turned out, you secretly went to see him, and...” Mate stopped his speech.

He looked at the towel with the model of clothes that were still wrapped around my body; it must not be as neat as it was. I lowered my face while looking at my body. This was the first time I felt ashamed of myself and my husband.

“Did you do it again?” asked Mate in a trembling voice.

“What? Should I tell Mate about what I did with Alpha?” my heart murmurs.

“Hmm,
