Chapter 9

I slowly got up and walked out of the room.

“Josh? Shanun? Are you home?”

I walked down the stairs and saw a voice like someone chatting in the yard next to the house. I walked closer to the source of the sound.

“Hi, Alice? It turns out that you are awake?” Shaun, with a smile on his face, approached me.

“Wake up?” I’m getting more confused.

“Yes, you slept for a long time. Look! Josh has cooked for you; come on! Eat! A long sleep must have made you very hungry,” Shanun said as he slightly pulled my arm.

“Hi, Alice? You look so fresh! We’ve both been waiting for you to wake up for a long time,” Josh said as he burned the meat.

Still confused, I sat down. Every now and then, I see Shanun and Mate.

“Hmm, what happened to me?” I asked.

For a moment, they both stared at me.

“Hi, Alice? What are you asking? You’re sleeping so hard!”

“Am I too lazy?”

“Yes,” Josh answered.

“So, what I experienced was just a dream
