***MOMENTS AGO AFTER THE DEATH OF THE QUEEN

“I can help achieve your mother’s desire,” said Zirus, the son of the prime minister.

His sudden whisper startled Alicia.

Alicia turned swiftly and made a profile of Zirus. He was a tall, fine, young-looking creature with lighter green, humongous half-green eyes, dressed in a black flowing robe. Alicia narrowed her gaze on him. “Who are you?” she asked with curiosity.

She could barely recall him and his role in the council. Her eyes are blurred with tears. Mourning over her mother has slain her.

Zirus’ cheek flushed with a fancy smile, “I am Zirus, the son of Prime Minister Zyle.”

There was something weird about Zirus. His half-green eyes could change color and become half-red eyes. Alicia began to draw back without hesitation as she became spellbound, staring in fear. Only a few Alien creatures could switch their eyes color and they are considered dangerous and ruthless in actions.
