Chapter 69. Affection Interference

“I can't stay here and watch you talk to me in such a manner in front of a common maid," Kia said as she rudely walked out from Ail’s chamber, slamming the door after her.

Perhaps Ail has proven he could be ruthless to anyone if such a creature could kill Zyle after crowning him king and electing a new prime minister after dissolving the council. He wanted him to be the one to decide all the affairs of Planet Z and not let the council meddle in his decisions or even attempt to issue a decree that would dethrone him instantly.

"My king, I think I have to go now," the maiden said, expressing fear. She’s worried about what Kia’s actions could be.

"Why are you so worried about what just happened?" Ail locked his arms around her and gazed straight into her eyes.

"I don't know, but I think I have to return to my duties," she replied, pulling away from Ail.

She never meant to kiss him back but he forced her to do or
