Chapter 30. Arrested

I hurried out of the store, joining Kylian in the car. A thousand and one things were going through my mind when I entered the car. Why did he lie about his powers being trapped inside of him like mine when he has his powers? What other thing was he hiding?

We settled down in the car, strapping our seat belts around us as he drove the car. I sat there in silence, waiting for him to say something and give me some sort of explanation, but he said nothing. He wasn’t even sparing me a glance.

What the hell was wrong with Kylian? Why was he acting this way? I’ve never known him to be a liar or a less affair kind of person, or is it possible he concealed his true self from me?
